Statement of Being

Welcome to my Blog. A friend talked me into this nonsense, so I guess I'll give it a try.

I've found a quote that really strikes home for me. It is attributed to St. Thomas Aquinas, a 12th century philosopher.
"Timeo Hominem Unius Libri"
Roughly translated, it means, "I fear the man of one book."

If you're learning, thinking, even your way of life is based on a single work or body of knowledge, then you are blind to the rest of the world.
